CTD Tools Returns & Refunds Policy

At CTD Tools, we are committed to providing quality products and excellent customer service. To ensure a smooth experience, please review our Returns and Refunds Policy before making a return.

Standard Return Policy

  • Customers may return unused stock items within 30 days of purchase.
  • A 25% restocking fee applies to all returns.
  • Shipping and freight costs are the responsibility of the customer.
  • Shipping charges are refundable only if the return is due to our error.
  • CTD Tools is not responsible for returns lost in transit. We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping method.

Non-Stock & Drop-Shipped Items

Non-stock and drop-shipped items are subject to 25%–50% restocking fees, depending on the manufacturer’s policy.

International Shipments

  • CTD Tools ships only within the 50 United States.
  • International customers may use freight forwarders or export agents at their own risk.
  • CTD Tools does not provide HS codes, export/customs documentation, or pay duties associated with export.
  • All export requirements are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
  • Items shipped through freight forwarders may be excluded from our return policy.

Special Order Items

Special orders and custom-made items are considered non-cancelable, non-returnable, and non-refundable.

Refusing shipment does not entitle the buyer to a refund.

Return Authorization (RMA)

All returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA#).

Important RMA Guidelines

  • RMA must be requested within 30 days of purchase.
  • Returned items must be received within 40 days of purchase to qualify for a refund.
  • Items must be in new, resalable condition with no missing or damaged parts.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged in transit, you must contact us within 24 hours of delivery.

  • Inspect your package immediately upon delivery.
  • Note any damage on the delivery receipt or bill of lading.
  • Ask the driver to acknowledge the damage.
  • Retain all packaging for possible carrier inspection.
  • ⚠️ Failure to note damages at delivery may void your claim..

Return & Refund Exclusions

The following items are non-returnable and non-refundable:

  • Repair kits
  • Diagnostic equipment
  • Software-based applications
  • Used equipment (sold “as-is”)

⚠️ Returns are not accepted for international shipments via freight forwarders. Any damage must be reported by the freight forwarder upon receipt. CTD Tools is not responsible once items are in the custody of your freight forwarder.
